African-American pin-up finally had a platform when the magazine, Jet, was created in 1951. It was not until 1965 that Jennifer Jackson became the first African American to be published in Playboy as Playmate of the Month. It’s been a couple of decades since the full leather look has been a trend but this is one spring vintage fashion trend that’s making a comeback. So, make sure you have a leather look in your wardrobe to add some vintage inspired appeal into your spring and summer days. First and foremost, you’re going to want to start from the top, literally, your hair is up first.
