Begin with the fringe area. Create a horizontal parting and brush hair forward. Backcomb the base of the section. Sweep hair back and away from face to create a soft fringe roll. The collar has just the right amount of stiffness so it stands up on it's own and the gathering coming down from the collar is a lovely detail.
