In the 1920s two of the most notable Black burlesque dancers were Josephine Baker and Lottie Graves. Another great pencil dress by Chic Star! It's made from poly/elastane stretch but the fabric is lovely and soft and smooth against the skin. The design is simple but smart and the black collar and sleeve trim reminds me of a 50's diner uniform.
