Begin with the fringe area. Create a horizontal parting and brush hair forward. Backcomb the underside interior of the hair. Gather ends and roll under to create your fringe roll. The collar has just the right amount of stiffness so it stands up on it's own and the gathering coming down from the collar is a lovely detail.
